Shinnecock Corn Dance
In the morning of May 13th, a Shinnecock (Native American Tribe
from Long Island) friend of Mr. Joe came to school to
teach us a traditional Shinnecock Corn Dance for our
Three Sister's Garden (corn, beans, and squash). She
also taught us a snake dance. Afterward, all of the
children helped with the garden. We dug soil, moved
mulch, planted broccoli plants and some flower seeds.

Our garden is coming along....
