Thank you to John Kiba for building them!
Cobblestone School was recently awarded the "Kids Growing Food" grant from Cornell University. Last spring the children, parents, and teachers created a wonderful organic garden. This fall we are celebrating the plentiful harvest.

The children have been doing an amazing job filling the beds with topsoil and spreading mulch around them and on the raspberry beds. Every floor has participated during outside time and worked very-very hard! Thank you Nikki, Christy and Aimee for working on getting the beds ready and spreading the enormous pile of mulch!

First plants!!
On Friday, May 8th, we planted our first seeds and seedlings! The children from all floors put in radishes, spinach, chard, lettuce, parsley, snap peas and onions. Susan's class planted carrot seeds-quite a bit of them.
